Noise Common sense and reason should prevail and residents will generally be tolerant. Given the high density living and ease of sound transference, parties, loud music and other noisy happenings after 11pm are not permitted. If you are planning a big gathering you may wish to notify your neighbours, and please tone down if you are asked to.

Household Pets Small pets (cats and dogs) are permitted to be kept by residents but must be controlled by their owners at all times. Dogs are to be on a leash at all times. Their owners should remove any pet faeces in the common areas immediately.

Security Burglaries and break-ins are rare, but they do happen from time to time. So feel free to ask strangers who it is they wish to see. And please spread the word around you if you notice people in the village who have no known links with the complex. Don't hesitate to let your neighbours and the police know of anything odd. If your property is to be left empty for some time, leave the key with a friend or neighbour and arrange for the mail to be picked up regularly, and the property inspected at least monthly.

Maintenance Each owner is responsible for maintenance on his or her own property, including roofing, walls and the interior. However, owners are constrained under the covenants to their title, by the requirements to obtain the Building Control Committee's consent to any structural addition or alteration to the external appearance, including paint finishes. This consent may be sought by application and consultation with the Building Control Committee. For maintenance information and tips go to this page Maintenance Tips
